Ginger Root, Tea Cut (Organic)
Ginger is one of the oldest cultivated plants on earth — traded along ancient spice routes, prized in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and still one of the most researched botanicals in modern herbalism. There is a reason it has never gone out of fashion. Nothing else quite replicates that bright, fiery warmth that clears the sinuses, settles the stomach, and wakes up the whole body in a single sip.
Our ginger root is certified organic, tea cut, and sourced for potency — not just flavor. Pungent, spicy, and deeply aromatic with that characteristic heat that builds slowly and lingers warmly. Zingiber officinale at its best: clean, bold, and unmistakably alive.
Traditionally Used to Support

- Nausea relief — one of the most well-studied natural remedies for nausea, including motion sickness, morning sickness, and post-meal discomfort
- Circulation & warming — a classic warming circulatory herb; traditionally used to support healthy blood flow, warm cold extremities, and stimulate peripheral circulation
- Inflammation support — rich in gingerols and shogaols, bioactive compounds that have been extensively studied for their role in supporting a healthy inflammatory response
- Immune & respiratory support — used across Asian and Ayurvedic traditions as a warming immune tonic, particularly during cold and flu season
- Energy & vitality — traditionally used as a stimulating tonic to combat fatigue and support overall vitality
How to Use
As a tea: Steep 1–2 teaspoons of tea cut ginger in 8–10 oz of just-boiled water for 10–15 minutes, covered. Bold, spicy, and warming — a little goes a long way. Pairs beautifully with lemon, honey, and a pinch of cayenne for a classic fire cider-style tonic tea. Excellent cold-season daily ritual.
Culinary: Use in broths, stir-fries, marinades, curries, baked goods, and homemade ginger ale or ginger beer. Tea cut pieces rehydrate beautifully in soups and slow-cooked dishes.
Tincture: Macerate in high-proof alcohol for 4–6 weeks. Pairs well with turmeric and black pepper for a potent anti-inflammatory formula, or with peppermint and fennel for a digestive bitters blend.
Oxymel or honey infusion: Infuse in raw honey for 2–4 weeks for a warming, spicy honey perfect for teas, toasts, and immune support.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Properly stored, dried ginger root retains its potency and heat for 1–2 years.
