๐ŸŒฟ Starting a herbal shelfโ€”or squeezing a little more onto one?

Meet Everyday Botanicals, a collection of 25 familiar botanical favorites for curious beginners and experienced blenders alike. Leaves, flowers, roots, and spices, each in its own labeled pouch, without buying a full-size bag of everything that catches your eye. Because โ€œI'll just try one new herbโ€ has a way of becoming an entire shelf. Ask me how I know.

Part of The Apothecary Shelf: curated botanical collections featuring organically grown, wildcrafted, and thoughtfully sourced materials.

๐Ÿ“ฆ Here's exactly what you're getting

One Everyday Botanicals collection: 25 individually labeled botanical pouches in your chosen fill size, a collection-specific reference pamphlet, and 25 empty disposable tea filter bags.

These are separate ingredients, not a premixed tea. You're purchasing this one 25-botanical collection, not all four collections or the complete 100-material shelf. The botanicals come in pouches, not jars. The filter bags are included accessories, not part of the 25-botanical count.

๐Ÿซ– A little help getting started

We've tucked in 25 empty disposable tea filter bags, so you have a handy tool for botanicals suited to bagged infusions. Not every botanical belongs in a tea bag or uses the same preparation method; your reference pamphlet explains how to approach the different materials. Filter bags do not replace properly cooking elderberries or finely filtering mullein.

๐ŸŽ A little box of botanical curiosity

Your collection arrives tucked into a black cardboard gift box with botanical-print tissue, individually labeled pouches, your reference pamphlet, and the empty tea filter bags. The gift box is packed inside a separate shipping box for protection during transit. A thoughtful gift for someone else's shelf, or a perfectly reasonable gift for your own.

๐Ÿ“– We aren't sending you home with 25 bags and a โ€œgood luck!โ€

Your included reference pamphlet lists the botanicals alphabetically, with traditional-use notes, preparation guidance, and herb-specific cautions. It's a handy starting point for getting to know what's in each pouch, without requiring you to open twelve browser tabs first.

The pamphlet is educational, not personalized medical advice. Check each botanical's directions and cautions before using it.

๐Ÿฅ„ Small introduction or a little more room to explore?

Both sizes contain the same 25 botanicals. The difference is how much you receive in each pouch.

  • Sampler Size: Approximately 2โ€“3 teaspoons of each botanical. A smaller introduction to the collection.
  • Blending Size: Approximately 5โ€“6 teaspoons of each botanical. More material for hands-on preparation and blending.

These approximate volumes are based on teaspoon-measured fills. Amounts vary with botanical texture and how loosely the spoon is filled. These are package quantities, not serving sizes or preparation doses.

Fluffy leaves and flowers weigh less by volume than dense roots, berries, and spices, so the pouches won't all have the same gram weight. Neither size promises a uniform quarter-ounce or half-ounce portion of every botanical. Photos marked Sampler Size show that size, not Blending Size.

๐Ÿ’ฌ A few things you might be wondering

Can I buy the whole Apothecary Shelf?

Yes! Our Complete 100-Material Collection brings together Everyday, Blend & Brew, Specialty, and Curiosity Botanicals in one purchase. Choose Sampler Size or Blending Size for the complete shelf. It also includes 100 empty disposable tea filter bags.

Can I purchase an individual botanical?

Yes! You can purchase individual botanicals in ยฝ-ounce packages right here in our store. Browse our single-herb selection to refill a favorite or explore one botanical at a time. These collections are sold as complete 25-material assortments; their individual component pouches aren't sold separately.

Does this make a good gift?

Absolutely! For the curious beginner, the botanical enthusiast, or the friend whose shelves are already overflowing, this is a gift with plenty to explore. The black gift box, labeled pouches, and reference pamphlet make it thoughtfully put together, not just a pile of mystery herbs. Keep the recipient's allergies, medications, and other suitability considerations in mind.

๐Ÿ“š A little know-how before you brew

Getting acquainted is part of the fun: compare aromas and textures, learn how different plant parts are prepared, and discover what deserves a permanent spot on your shelf.

Not every botanical belongs in the same preparation. Some require simmering rather than steeping, and a cold steep isn't a universal shortcut. Follow ingredient-specific preparation directions and cautions.

Everyday means familiar and foundational, not safe for daily use or suitable for everyone. Elderberries require proper cooking before consumption; do not eat them raw or use an uncooked cold steep. Strain mullein carefully through a fine filter to remove its irritating hairs. Review individual suitability with your qualified healthcare provider, including for ashwagandha and other botanicals with medication or health-condition cautions.

๐Ÿก Keeping your shelf happy

Keep pouches tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
